Yvette McCausland-Durie

Playing Career

Yvette McCausland-Durie has a wealth of experience as a player on both regional and national levels. She is a former member of the New Zealand U21 and Silver Fern netball teams. She has also played touch rugby at senior provincial level and was a National Track and Field World Junior representative.


Coaching Career

She has been an assistant and head coach for the New Zealand U21 netball team. In 2005 her team won the World Youth Cup Championship. She has also been a coach for the Central BEKO, New Zealand A and Aotearoa Māori netball teams. She has a number of Netball qualifications and has been a part of the New Zealand Coach Accelerator Programme. She has coached a number of age group representative teams and is currently the head coach of the Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse Netball team in the ANZ Championship. Yvette returns to MANUKURA after being a part of the New Zealand Silver Ferns team. She is also the current New Zealand U21 Netball coach
